Indian men are known to care for their fellow men. One segment of the population who have benefitted from this is the Indian gay population. They are very accepting of other cultures and beliefs. This is perhaps the biggest reason why Indians are very progressive and open-minded. At the same time, they have also contributed a lot. As such, Indian culture is known to be very diverse having picked something up through the centuries. Indian culture has been around for thousands of years, even longer than the British.
